| Bio: Warren Hansen is an Emmy Award-winning Director of Photography whose work includes Oprah Winfrey's television series, "Oprah Goes Online," music videos for cutting edge groups like Ministry and John Spencer Blues Explosion, and commercials for clients such as Coca-Cola, Hyatt, Target, Sprint and L'Oreal.
Hansen started his career in 1985, working alongside some of Chicago's most accomplished still photographers. Exhibiting a keen eye for lighting and a passion for composition, Hansen soon made the transition to commercials.
In 1991, Peter Elliott hired Hansen to work at his production company. The volume of work and the diversity of clients provided hands-on experience for live action, high speed, motion control, steady-cam and underwater cinematography. Clients began to notice his ability to light people naturally and began to request him for this ability. In 1996 Warren started working solely as a DP and has been shooting various film and hi-def projects internationally for the last 12 years. Warren resides in Los Angeles. |
