|Bio: Mark Atteberry is an award winning actor and photographer and a frequent speaker on the business of acting. Mark began his career in the Entertainment Industry as a marketing expert before making the transition to acting and photography.
As an actor Mark’s film work ranges indies like Miranda July’s “The Future,” the multi-award winning “Butterfly Circus” and “Stained,” for which he received a Best Actor nomination, to blockbuster hits like Ang Lee’s "The Hulk.” Mark's television work includes hit series like “Criminal Minds,” "The Closer," “The Mentalist,” "Dexter," “Justified,” “Big Love,” "The Shield," "24" and "Nip/Tuck." Mark was most recently seen on the critically acclaimed HBO series “Luck,” starring Dustin Hoffman and Nick Nolte, and as Phil, Rachel’s boyfriend, on “House, M.D.”
Mark is also an award-winning photographer and is internationally known for his advertising, documentary and headshot work. His clients include NBC, CBS, A&E, Bravo, CAA, ICM, WME, Venice Magazine, and Big Lots. Mark has been chosen as one of the "Best Headshot Photographers in Los Angeles" by BackStage West magazine and in 2010 he was honored by the Photography for Social Change Foundation as one of the top 100 documentary-style photographers in the world.
Known as “LA’s Type Specialist” Mark teaches and lectures regularly around the globe on the subjects of "Branding, Image and Type" and "How to Succeed in the Entertainment Industry." He has written or co-written several books on the topic of acting including "The Working Actor's Guide to LA" and "The Stunt Guide." Mark is the founder and master teacher at the “Be A Working Actor Studios” in Los Angeles.
